W-Cu contact material is a kind of electrical erosion resistance performance is good, strong anti fusion welding performance and high voltage resistance capacity of the material, so it is used as switch electric contact material. With the rapid development of industry, the performance of contact material and preparation process is also put forward higher requirements. This paper uses the method of mechanical alloying and infiltration sintering preparation of W-Cu contact material, and the preparation of sintering process is studied. The sintering temperature is one of the factors that influence the performance of organization of tungsten copper alloy, using different sintering temperatures (1100 ℃, 1200 ℃, 1300 ℃ sintering embryo) finished, studied the effect of sintering temperature on the density, hardness, shrinkage and flexural strength of the detection performance analysis and organization. Results showed that the optimum sintering temperature is 1200 ℃ W-Cu contact material. In addition the holding time is organizational factors of tungsten copper alloy properties, and then select three holding time (30min, 60min, 90min) to research products, through the performance test and analysis of tungsten copper alloy sintering the best heat preservation time is 60min.
